Pierce cleared for Week 1 debut after ankle surgery recovery.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen confirmed that WR Alec Pierce is on track and will play in the Week 1 opener against Baltimore Ravens. Pierce was activated off PUP and has been practicing with teammates since last week following ankle/heel surgery in March; the recovery timeline expectation all along was readiness for Week 1, though there was initial hope for late training camp return that did not materialize.
