From the article
Rashid Shaheed had only a 61.9% route share, an 8.8% target share with 20.9 receiving yards per game, 1.05 yards per route run, and a 12.3% first-read share. This type of usage isn't conducive to fantasy success... I'm sitting him until we see what his usage looks like for 2026.

Shaheed's 2025 usage metrics don't support early-season flex consideration.
Last year as a Seahawk, Shaheed posted a 61.9% route share, 8.8% target share, 20.9 receiving yards per game, 1.05 yards per route run, and 12.3% first-read share—usage metrics not conducive to fantasy success. Against New England's single-high coverage (51.8% of defensive snaps), he posted only an 11% target-per-route-run rate and 0.74 yards per route run. While usage could trend upward with a full offseason in 2026, the source recommends sitting him until we see what his role looks like this year.
