Robinson's breakout season and favorable slot matchup are offset by unclear target share and Ward's preseason struggles.
Robinson had a true breakout campaign last year as WR14 in fantasy points per game, ranking 11th in target share (26.8%), 15th in receiving yards per game (63.4), 28th in yards per route run (1.94), and 11th in first-read share (32.9%). His aDOT rose to 8.7 and he was 21st in deep targets among 109 qualifying receivers. However, the target hierarchy between Robinson and Carnell Tate is unclear, and Cam Ward's shaky preseason creates uncertainty. Robinson has a nice matchup in Week 1—the Jets allowed the sixth-most yards per target to slot receivers and ranked 16th in fantasy points per opportunity. Jarvis Brownlee Jr. (77.3% catch rate, 108.9 passer rating) isn't a shutdown nickel corner. The source considers Robinson no more than a PPR flex play for Week 1.
