McGee projects Deebo Samuel to produce around 806 scrimmage yards and four scores in 2026, similar to his 2024 output, with production partially dependent on how the deep passing game fares with new additions Mike Evans and De'Zhaun Stribling. Samuel's best work comes in short to intermediate areas, and at this stage of his career it's hard to envision him being a huge part of the run game as he was earlier in his 49ers tenure. McGee does not expect Samuel to approach a third 1,000-scrimmage-yard season.
