New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson has been ruled out for Wednesday night's season opener against the Seattle Seahawks with an ankle injury sustained during practice on Aug. 24. The 2025 second-round draft selection did not participate in Tuesday's practice or any of New England's two prior sessions. Without Henderson, the Patriots lose an ever-present home-run threat; four of his 10 touchdown runs in 2025 spanned 50 or more yards.
