Despite being drafted fourth overall after averaging 18.0 yards per reception at Ohio State, Tate faces a risky Week 1 matchup against the Jets. The Titans offense is projected to be the fourth-worst by PFF, with the offensive line struggling and the team favored by only 1.5 points with the week's lowest projected total (39.5). While Tate gives Cam Ward a legitimate field-stretcher, the offense's struggles under new coordinator Brian Daboll make this a cautious start; easier to start Tate in pass-heavy scripts, but better to wait and see what the offense produces first.
