Roman Wilson, entering his third pro season, has a far more limited path on the Steelers offense compared to rookie Germie Bernard. Wilson was generating camp buzz last summer but has yet to translate it to production in games. Aaron Rodgers, who is famously hard on his receivers, was frustrated with Wilson in 2025 and called out a 'repeat mistake' on a route in practice, saying 'That's a good learning — because I don't think he's going to do that again.' Wilson is a player who really needs to play in the slot to succeed, whereas Bernard is a far more versatile piece who can play all three receiver positions.
