Michael Mayer is widely regarded as one of the better TE2s in the NFL and has shown serviceable production as a streamer and punt-TE option in DFS. He posted a TE6 finish in Week 6 last season on an 80% route rate with an 82 Utilization Score (16.0 fpts), and a TE4 finish in Week 17 with 17.9 fantasy points on an 88 Utilization Score. With Bowers out, Mayer becomes a viable pickup for Bowers owners.
