Lock outplayed Darnold; 16/22, 187 yards, TD after settling in.

Drew Lock was admittedly shaky to start the game but settled in during the second half, going 10/14 for 136 yards, a touchdown, and a 15-yard scramble out of the Russell Wilson playbook. Overall, Lock finished 16/22 for 187 yards and a TD, outplaying the 2025 MVP runner-up (Sam Darnold). Byron Murphy II notes Lock may not be a franchise QB but he can win you games and was a big help once he settled into the game; late huddle breaks and delay of game penalties early were partially explained by his offensive coordinator change with Brian Fleury.
