Mahomes completed a nine-month rehab from ACL and LCL surgery on his left knee (injury suffered Dec. 14) and is cleared to return for Week 1 Monday Night Football against the Broncos on Sept. 14 with no limitations. He stated he has 'built up the strength [in my knee] and built up all the days of rehab so that I can be myself' and will play without restrictions, including running the ball when needed. Chiefs coach Andy Reid confirmed the offensive game plan will not differ from years past.
