Sam Darnold went down on the first series of the Seahawks' Week 1 game vs. the Patriots with an injury to his right hip, sidelining him for the remainder of the game and potentially beyond. Sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter that Darnold was at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle undergoing a CT scan on his hip; the initial test was encouraging but inconclusive. Darnold is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Thursday. Coach Mike Macdonald said postgame that initial tests seem to show the QB avoided a fracture.
