I don't think McBride set records. We've seen the ceiling. There's no way he can do that again... he has never been a big touchdown scorer... I don't think Brissett is going to be the quarterback all year... He needs to fall a little bit for me to take him.

Trey McBride's 2024 ceiling year cannot be repeated; he has never been a big touchdown scorer historically, and his TD production last year was a tail outcome aided by Jacoby Brissett feeding tight ends relentlessly. With potential quarterback changes (Carson Beck, Minshew) looming, McBride's target volume and efficiency could decline significantly. At current ADP, Samwise is not targeting him and would need to see him fall further in draft position before becoming willing to select him.
