Cooper Rush took the majority of first-team snaps on Thursday after Tua Tagovailoa's potential injury. Rush told media after practice that these were his first significant reps with the whole starting unit outside one 2-minute scrimmage session in camp. Chris Lindstrom said Rush was 'great' in Thursday's practice. Rush hasn't been told he's starting on Sunday, but is now the primary backup option if Tua cannot play in Week 1.
