However, McDaniel's play-calling tendencies prioritize efficiency over volume: his offenses rank 28th in neutral dropbacks per game, 32nd in neutral pace, and 28th in plays per game. While Herbert's highlight plays are impressive, if he's only getting 20 attempts per day, his fantasy value may be limited despite the coaching upgrade.
