Niners Nation on Brock Purdy
From the article
Purdy's second-quarter interception was about as bad as interceptions can get. But from there, Purdy settled in and was as close to perfect as you could ask... Purdy would go 12-for-14 with three touchdowns from that point on.
STACKED’s take
Purdy's second-half dominance (12-for-14, 3 TDs) overcame early interception in blowout win.
Purdy bounced back from an ugly second-quarter interception (thrown to Quentin Lake who dropped back into coverage unnoticed) to settle in and perform nearly flawlessly. After the Rams' Matthew Stafford threw an interception on the next drive, Purdy went 12-for-14 with three touchdowns from that point forward. He threw a 39-yard touchdown to Demarcus Robinson on the following drive for the game-winning score (10-7 lead), a fade-route touchdown to Mike Evans, and a 15-yard touchdown to Deebo Samuel. On the 49ers' 99-yard touchdown drive starting from their own 1-yard line, Purdy went 4-for-4 for 48 yards (including two runs for 26 yards combined). Named 2nd star of the game.
