Goff's primary weaknesses are mobility and Big-Time Throws (downfield throws with tight windows). He scrambled just five times in all of 2025 and will not run away if the pocket collapses. In 623 dropbacks, he had only 16 Big-Time Throws, ranking 23rd among qualified QBs. The Saints' defensive strategy should focus on getting Goff off schedule and challenging him in intermediate areas without allowing wide-open shots to elite receivers.
