However, Patriots insider Phil Perry expressed significant concern about Doubs' ability to fill that role, noting he has a very different personality from elite receivers like Stefon Diggs and A.J. Brown. Perry characterized Doubs as 'the anti-receiver in terms of his personality,' lacking the typical bravado, confidence, and competitive dog that elite receivers possess.
