First-round rookie Omar Cooper ruled out with ankle injury in Week 1.

Jets' first-round rookie (No. 30 overall pick, 2026 NFL Draft) from Indiana sustained an ankle injury in the first half of Week 1 against Tennessee and was ruled out early in the third quarter. Cooper was carted off the field after catching one pass for 30 yards on a third-and-9 play at the Titans' 34-yard line with 12:10 left in the first quarter, setting up a first-and-goal possession and eventual touchdown.
