Hurts was under center for the Eagles' first two offensive drives, which amounted to 12 yards over 10 plays, averaging 1.2 yards per play. He completed a pass down the middle of the field but the offense produced the same inept results as under Kevin Patullo. Hurts did complete a 64-yard pass to Wicks on a critical first-and-goal at the Washington six, and later hit Goedert for the Eagles' first touchdown of the season.
