Lane will be out at minimum a month, opening the door for Bateman to reclaim his role as the preferred boundary wide receiver in Baltimore. The 2021 first-round pick played 51 snaps—far more than anyone not named Flowers—but saw just one target as the Ravens leaned on Derrick Henry. Devontez Walker could push for playing time when healthy, but Bateman by default is in too cushy of a spot to ignore so long as Lane is out.
