He had incredible per-route numbers last year at 35-55% snap/route shares; scaling that production up to Sunday's role would make him a high-end TE1. With Joe Brady taking over as head coach, there's potential for an increase in team passing volume. Even if the playing-time boost doesn't fully hold, a lesser boost would probably put Kincaid ahead of Kyle Pitts, Harold Fannin, and others. The only guys the source would definitely start over Kincaid in Week 2 are McBride, Bowers, and Loveland; after that, Kincaid is part of the conversation with Tyler Warren, Sam LaPorta, Tucker Kraft, and George Kittle.
