Fehoko was named NFC Special Teams Player of the Week for Week 1 after blocking a punt against the Chargers in the fourth quarter of Arizona's win; the block led directly to a Cardinals TD drive, with QB Jacoby Brissett hitting TE Trey McBride for a three-yard touchdown to extend the lead to 23-14. This was Fehoko's first career blocked kick, the first blocked punt for the Cardinals since December 20, 2020, and the first time the Chargers had a punt blocked since November 21, 2021. Fehoko also recorded two tackles on special teams in the game.
