Smith made an excellent catch on a well-designed play where Lemon's motion created a switch release, putting Smith against a cornerback playing with inside leverage. The source credits Smith's vertical shot and fantastic route-running as saving the play despite receivers running into each other on the mesh concept. Hurts delivered a strike with excellent velocity and ball placement, but the catch was every bit as good. Smith's performance demonstrated the Eagles' ability to manipulate coverage with motion.
