Kincaid was the biggest beneficiary of Allen's big game in Week 1, catching five of six targets for a career-high 130 yards and tying Khalil Shakir for second on the team in targets behind only DJ Moore. PFF gave him a 91.2 overall grade and 91.6 receiving grade, both first among all tight ends in Week 1, with 5.91 yards per route run and two broken tackles after the catch. His 38-yard grab from his own end zone had just a 9.4% completion probability per Next Gen Stats. Joe Brady has shown he can increase Kincaid's snaps by using him as a big receiver in the role previously occupied by Tyrell Shavers, letting him stay on the field without sacrificing blocking from Dawson Knox and Jackson Hawes. Detroit's safety group is banged up without starters Brian Branch and Kerby Joseph, and this offense will test the over-the-middle area regardless of health.
