Barkley produced 42 yards on a third-and-2 attempt, running away from Leo Chenal through the second level and into the open field on outside zone. His other 14 carries produced 41 yards and just five successful runs, totaling a solid performance but not the sort of 2024 Barkley the Eagles were hoping to unlock by moving toward an outside zone-heavy scheme. The Eagles ran Barkley, threw the ball or punted on various third- or fourth-and-2 opportunities rather than using the tush push.
