LaPorta faces Buffalo's elite tight end defense after a target-share concern in Week 1.

LaPorta had a decent Week 1 with 5 receptions on 8 targets for 48 yards and 9.8 PPR fantasy points, but saw fewer targets than teammates Amon-Ra St. Brown (14) and Jameson Williams (9), and needed overtime to accumulate his target total. Against Buffalo in Week 2, the matchup is extremely unfavorable; the Bills surrendered only 7.6 fantasy points per game to tight ends in 2025 (fewest in NFL), allowed the fewest receiving yards (504) and second-fewest touchdowns (4) to the position. Even Dalton Schultz, who had 8 targets (second-most on his team) against Buffalo in Week 1, managed only 4 receptions for 35 yards and 7.5 fantasy points.
