Waddle should bounce back from Week 1 disaster, but Jaguars' coverage limits upside.

Waddle had a terrible Week 1 with 78.8% route share but only 10.7% target share and 14.3% first-read share, finishing with one reception for two yards. The entire Denver offense was on life support. Jacksonville used two-high coverage on 56.7% of snaps; in 2024-2025, Waddle against two-high had 21% target-per-route run rate and 1.87 YPRR. If Nix gets him the ball, Waddle should bounce back, but not a massive stat line expected. Jacksonville allowed third-fewest yards per target and second-fewest fantasy points per target to slot receivers last year.
