FantasyPros Articles on Adonai Mitchell
From the article
Mitchell caught 3-of-3 targets for 60 yards against the Titans in Week 1. He was usually on the field with Garrett Wilson when the Jets were in two-receiver sets, and with rookie Omar Cooper Jr. sustaining an ankle injury, Mitchell should get plenty of snaps in the weeks to come.
STACKED’s take
Mitchell's 3-of-3 targets and Green Bay's weak corners make him a deep sleeper flex.
Mitchell is a sleeper WR for Week 2 against Green Bay, who should be leading most of the game. He caught 3-of-3 targets for 60 yards in Week 1 against Tennessee and was usually on the field with Garrett Wilson in two-receiver sets. With rookie Omar Cooper Jr. sustaining an ankle injury, Mitchell should get plenty of snaps going forward. Despite averaging 5.9 yards per target entering the season, he is a former second-round draft pick with good size (6-2, 205) and 4.34 speed. The Jets' passing game looked competent in Week 1, and Mitchell faces an enticing Week 2 matchup against a Green Bay defense with suspect cornerbacks. Over the next three weeks, Jets WR Adonai Mitchell will face NFC North teams with leaky pass defenses.
