In the third quarter, he went down with the dreaded high ankle sprain and is now on the IR, missing at least 4 weeks. This opens the door for DeMario Douglas to take over as Maye's WR1. He was targeted 7 times during the game. This number should rise, leading to him to outpace his current Week 2 ranking (WR74/ECR153)

Douglas inherits WR1 role after A.J. Brown's injury; 7 targets in Week 1 should rise.

Douglas becomes the de facto WR1 for New England after A.J. Brown suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 1 and is out at least 4 weeks. Romeo Doubs had a nasty drop and didn't look comfortable, clearing the path for Douglas. He was targeted 7 times in Week 1 despite the Patriots' poor offensive performance, and this target volume should rise significantly. Douglas is ranked WR74/ECR153 but offers sneaky upside for the FLEX spot for at least the next month.
