Footballguys on Sammy Watkins

Watkins' best game was Week 1; didn't sustain; don't chase one-game wonders.

Jeff Bell cites Sammy Watkins as a historical example of Week 1 overreaction: Watkins' best game of the season came in Week 1, but this did not translate to sustained fantasy relevance or a waiver-wire pickup that helped fantasy managers, illustrating that a single strong game does not indicate a player's season-long trajectory.
