Recently signed wide receiver Cody White, an undrafted free agent from Michigan State elevated from the practice squad for Week 1, made a game-changing special teams play against Miami, running down Jaylen Wright on a kickoff return and limiting what would have been a touchdown return to just 79 yards. The 6-foot-3, 227-pound receiver clocked a 4.66-second 40-yard dash but still managed to track down Wright (4.38 40) on the coverage unit, earning praise from the broadcast and demonstrating his value as a special teams contributor despite being primarily a receiver by trade.
