As a regular critic, I gotta say Bryce had an excellent game. He was prepared and dialed in, both pre- and post-snap... We all know he can throw with insane anticipation, but we really saw it shine on down field throws that racked up huge chunks of yards... He has confidence in the scheme, his receivers, and his throws.

STACKED’s take

Positive signalProjection

Young's Week 1 confidence and downfield accuracy suggest fourth-season leap potential.

Young delivered an excellent Week 1 performance with confidence, preparation, and dialed-in execution both pre- and post-snap; he stayed in the pocket, trusted his arm, and didn't shy away from tight window throws. His downfield throws with insane anticipation racked up huge chunks of yards and explosive plays—the missing element in this offense since he became the starter. The biggest hope is he doesn't need to wait until mid-season or 75% through the season to get into full gear; he has confidence in the scheme, his receivers, and his throws, suggesting a potential fourth-season leap.
