The stats weren't really good for Jayden but I thought he managed the game well in the first half and didn't get us into a ton of negative plays... It wasn't one player on offense. It was kind of everybody.

Daniels' Week 1 stats poor but Peters cites game-rust and offensive cohesion issues.

In Week 1 against Philadelphia, Daniels' stats weren't strong, but Peters noted this was his first game in a while and first time calling plays with this full roster. Peters emphasized the offensive struggles weren't isolated to Daniels: "It wasn't one player on offense. It was kind of everybody. Someone was off on this play and someone else was off on that play." Peters credited Daniels with managing the game well in the first half and avoiding negative plays, with the offense improving in the second half.
