Windy City Gridiron on D'Andre Swift
From the article
Brian Flores' defenses always cause problems, especially in the passing game, but they do allow yards in the running game. Last year the Vikings ranked 21st in yards allowed on the ground. Swift's number last week was 63.5, and he smashed the over, so this week his number actually drops three yards. I do think he can comfortably go over 60 yards and push somewhere around 80 to 90 yards on the ground.
STACKED’s take
Swift over 60.5 yards; Vikings rank 21st in run defense, line drops despite matchup.
Swift OVER 60.5 rushing yards at -114 odds. Swift smashed the over on a 63.5-yard line in week one, and his line drops three yards this week despite facing Brian Flores' Vikings defense. The source notes that while Flores' defenses excel in pass defense, they allow yards on the ground (Vikings ranked 21st in rushing yards allowed last year). Green Bay's week-one performance against Minnesota is discounted because the Packers lacked Josh Jacobs and started RB3s. Projection: "I do think he can comfortably go over 60 yards and push somewhere around 80 to 90 yards on the ground, as the Bears' offensive line has another strong performance opening holes for Swift."
