Brooks, the Packers running back, struggled with pass protection assignments against Minnesota's blitz schemes in Week 1. In multiple plays, Brooks was tasked with picking up off-ball linebackers (Blake Cashman and Eric Wilson) from different gaps while aligned in the shotgun formation, creating coverage issues. On one play, Brooks was slow to get out to block Wilson, allowing pressure in Love's face. On another, Cashman bullied Brooks into Love's line of sight, forcing a scramble that resulted in a sack.
