Covey tackled on viral play by Commanders' Tyler Owens; defensive highlight against Eagles.

Covey was on the wrong end of a viral play in Week 1 when Commanders safety Tyler Owens beat Darius Cooper and Jonathan Jones with stiff-arms on his way to slamming Covey to the ground after a 12-yard punt return. J.J. Watt called it 'one of the greatest football plays I've ever seen.' Special teams coordinator Michael Clay acknowledged the play but noted that 'you've got to tip your cap to a guy that makes a play like that.'
