Godwin disappointed Derek Brown in Week 1 despite a favorable matchup, finishing with only a 14.3% target share, 40 receiving yards (1.33 YPRR), zero red zone targets, zero deep targets, and a 20% first-read share. Among 72 qualifying receivers, Godwin ranked 69th in separation and 52nd in route win rate, which Brown calls horrible. Brown notes it's possible Godwin is cooked at this point in his career, though it was only one game. Godwin has another nice matchup in Week 2 against Cleveland, which allowed the most fantasy points per target and yards per target to slot receivers in Week 1.
