Allen became the first player in NFL history with at least 5 passing touchdowns and 3 rushing touchdowns through the first two games of a season. He also became just the second player in NFL history to account for 9+ total touchdowns, including 4+ rushing touchdowns, over a span of five days, joining only Ernie Nevers (November 1929). His second rushing touchdown gave him 82 career rushing TDs, tying Hall of Famer Jim Taylor for 18th all-time.
