Watson is one of the league's most prolific deep-threat wide receivers with the longest touchdown of the season (81 yards) in Week 1; Next Gen Stats recorded his top speed at 21.09 MPH, the third-fastest speed of any ball carrier this season. His size-speed combination makes him a consistent deep-ball threat. Against the Jets' secondary, which will be without All-Pro Minkah Fitzpatrick (groin injury) and relying on Andre Cisco and Dane Belton—neither of whom were particularly spectacular in pass coverage last year—Watson should continue to punish teams over the top.
