While both quarterbacks are dynamic threats with the legs, Dart is a bit of a bruiser. He can eventually be caught, and when he is, you know contact is coming. Daniels is a different cat. He doesn't want to be caught. He uses his short burst acceleration and nifty change of direction to evade defenders.

Commanders QB presents a different elusiveness challenge for Cowboys defense compared to Week 1 opponent Jaxson Dart. While both are dynamic threats with their legs, Daniels uses short burst acceleration and nifty change of direction to evade defenders rather than being a bruiser who can be caught. Cowboys defense must be quick with nimble footwork and make good decisions on early downs and money downs to contain him; if they allow him to get loose after solid coverage, it will be another painful defensive showing.
