Bleeding Green Nation on Makai Lemon

Lemon's six catches for -2 yards and perplexing usage pattern raise concerns about his early impact.

Lemon's NFL career is off to a discouraging statistical start with six catches for -2 yards across two games including the final preseason game. His usage has been perplexing, likely because the Eagles are getting his feet wet as he comes back from injury. Despite receiving significant snaps in the Washington game, he cannot just be a cardio king; the Eagles need more traditional involvement instead of just screens and sweeps. Hopefully he is healthier and more up to speed so the Eagles can get him involved in a more traditional way.
