Sanders vastly outperformed Watson in Cleveland's second preseason game, completing 15 of 22 passes (68.2%) for 153 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions, compared to Watson's 16 of 27 (59.3%) for 162 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Week 1. Many believed Sanders would get the starting nod after his strong performance against Buffalo, creating speculation he could start as early as Week 3 if Watson struggles.
