Drew Lock was thrown into a tough situation in his first live game action since the end of the 2024 season. And he appeared to need the first half to shake off the rust. To his credit, Lock did not commit a turnover while he and new offensive coordinator Brian Fleury found their footing. Each grew more comfortable in the second half. Fleury called more play-action plays and rollouts and Lock seemed to thrive, hitting on 10 of 14 passes for 136 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions in the second half.
