Bagent replaced Williams after the injury and took over at quarterback for the Bears. He went 5-of-9 for 54 yards in Williams' absence. Late in the game, Bagent got the Bears into scoring position with several huge passes in the final minute, including an 18-yarder to Luther Burden III and a 21-yard pass to Rome Odunze, but was sacked to end the game.
