Maye's turnover rate has spiked sharply since December despite strong regular-season efficiency.

Maye completed 14 of 22 pass attempts for 208 yards, zero touchdowns and an interception against Pittsburgh; he rushed four times for 17 yards. His production dipped from last year's prolific season, and his accuracy and reputation for mistake-free football have slipped since December. Last season he threw eight interceptions compared to 31 touchdowns in 17 regular-season games; in four playoff games and two 2026 regular-season games since then, he has thrown eight picks. After losing three fumbles in the regular season last year, he lost seven in the playoffs.
