Njoku carted off with knee injury in Week 2; expected to miss time

Njoku, who signed with the Los Angeles Chargers as a free agent after nine seasons with the Browns, suffered a knee injury early in the second quarter of Week 2 against the Las Vegas Raiders and was carted off the field. He had posted 5 catches for 58 yards in Week 1 before the injury. The Chargers initially listed him as questionable to return, though he was expected to be ruled out for at least the remainder of the game.
