STACKED’s take
Saquon Barkley's shoulder stinger limited him to reduced snap count; MRI pending.
Saquon Barkley suffered a stinger to his left shoulder and arm area on Philadelphia's opening offensive snap against Tennessee in Week 2. He immediately exited the field and headed to the medical tent, but returned to the game at the start of the third quarter and finished the Eagles' 24-20 victory. However, his workload was clearly limited, finishing with four carries for nine yards and one reception for 11 yards while operating on a reduced snap count. Philadelphia plans to have Barkley undergo an MRI to determine the full extent of the shoulder and arm irritation. His status appears more day-to-day than long-term, but further testing will provide a clearer picture of his availability for Week 3 against Chicago.
