Johnston has been woefully inefficient over his first two games with 3-24-0 on 11 targets, averaging 2.2 yards per target. The Chargers' offense has been in a funk, but perhaps things will click soon under new offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel. When McDaniel was in Miami, he did an admirable job of creating catch-and-run opportunities for his wide receivers, which should be right up Johnston's alley, but we haven't seen it yet. The source advises to give it another week or two.
