Stampede Blue on Laquon Treadwell
ArticleShould the Colts have kicked the Field Goal or gone for it?
From the article
Laquon Treadwell, of all people, ended up making the biggest offensive play of overtime. The Colts scored 27 points in regulation and had a chance to win a game in Arrowhead that very few people expected them to be in late. That is why I have a hard time with the criticism Steichen is getting for the decision that followed Treadwell's 48-yard catch in overtime.

Treadwell's 48-yard OT catch set up the game's pivotal fourth-and-8 decision.
Treadwell made the biggest offensive play of the Colts' overtime possession, a 48-yard catch that moved the ball from Indianapolis' own 35 to the Kansas City 17 and set up the critical fourth-and-8 decision. The catch was significant enough that Daniel Jones defends Steichen's subsequent play-calling decisions based on the field position Treadwell's play created.
