It felt like a quiet eight catches for 122 yards for Smith-Njigba, which meant the contributions from other receivers seemed even quieter.

Smith-Njigba had 8 catches, 122 yards; passing game too reliant on him.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba had eight catches for 122 yards in the Seahawks' win over the Patriots, which was described as quiet given the circumstances of the QB change. The passing game cannot rely entirely on Smith-Njigba; six times last season he ended up with double the catches of the other wide receivers combined, which worked then but suggests the Seahawks should distribute more targets to Rashid Shaheed, Cooper Kupp, and Tory Horton.
